Century Farms Neighborhood
Located on the furthest north side of Naperville, the neighborhood of Century Farms gets its name from Erb Farm, which was located on the property for, presumably, a century. You can see the names “Joshua Erb” and “John Erb” just northwest of Naperville city on a land ownership map from 1874, indicating that the Erb Farm was here for at least one and a quarter century. Many of the farm’s trees have been preserved and compliment the gorgeous landscape. Century Farms is a 253-home subdivision that features three beautiful ponds and a city park (with a merry-go-round) in close proximity to the assigned District 203 schools. Students have the option to be bussed to all 3 schools which include Mill Street Elementary, Jefferson Jr. High and Naperville North High School. Century Farms is a very active neighborhood. Located just minutes away, Nike Park has multiple sports fields as well as tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and sand volleyball courts. Use the walking trails within the neighborhood to see the beautiful native prairie flowers and landscape. Jump on the conveniently located Prairie Path and ride through Herrick Lake or McDowell Woods to easily travel to events and surrounding towns. Century Farms also has convenient access to I-88 and a large variety of nearby shopping and restaurants. As a Century Farms resident for almost 20 years, there’s so much to love about the subdivision! The neighborhood Social Committee hosts year-round events for all ages and interests. Join the friendly neighbors at activities ranging from from Yoga in the park, Concerts and Bonfires to The Fourth of July Bike parade, National Night Out, Octoberfest and holiday caroling, just to name a few.
