5th Avenue Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday, June through October | 7a-12noon | Fifth Avenue Station Naperville
Build a farm-to-table meal with a plethora of locally grown food. You’ll also find an array products, performances and events, making this a great destination for the whole family! The Naperville Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 7am–noon, June through October.

Oktoberfest
Friday, October 2 – Saturday, October 3 | Naper Settlement | $25/adult & $15/child
Head to Naper Settlement for a weekend packed with authentic German eats, Oktoberfest brews, live music, and activities at Naper Settlement’s Oktoberfest! Traditional German cuisine and beer will be overflowing in a giant tent, with lively Oompah music on Friday and a mix of Oompah music, modern polka, pop, and country on Saturday. Enjoy one of the largest Oktoberfest beer varieties in the area and German food from local restaurants and food trucks! Guests can test their strength in a stein-holding contest on Saturday from 5-5:30 PM or explore the children’s activity area with inflatables by Chasers Laser Tag.

Styrofoam Recycling Collection Event
Saturday, October 3 | 9a-12p | Route 59 Metra Station North Parking Lot
The City is happy to share that, in partnership with Dart Container, Naperville Noon Lions and NEST, we will host a third (and final) Styrofoam collection event of the year! Because styrofoam is not accepted in most recycling streams, it is often sent to landfills, polluting ecosystems with microplastics along the way. Accepted polystyrene foam includes post-consumer foam cups and “to-go” containers, egg cartons, ice chests, rinsed meat trays and protective packaging foam. Please ensure the materials are clean and labels and tape are removed.

Barktoberfest Flight Tasting
Saturday, October 3 & Sunday, October 4 | Two Bostons
Barktoberfest is here, and Two Bostons is serving up a tasting flight made just for dogs. Stop by any Two Bostons on October 3rd or 4th and choose 5 tastings for just $5. It’s a fun way to let your pup try different broths, toppers, and blends to discover a few new favorites.

Cars & Candy Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 11 | 10a – 1p | Cadillac of Naperville
Bring the whole family out for the 2nd Annual Cars & Candy — a fun, family-friendly Trunk or Treat car show hosted by Cadillac of Naperville and the Be Yourself Group (supporting young adults with special needs). Come for the candy and stay for the fun! Enjoy tons of exotic, classic, and specialty cars, food trucks, a pumpkin decorating patch, haircuts for the kids, face painting, a DJ, costume prizes, supporting local businesses, and plenty of activities for kids and families. Car owners are welcome to bring out their favorite ride and join the show too!

NJWC Trick or Treat
Saturday, October 17 | 9:30am-12:30pm | Safety Town | $15 Donation per family
Trick or treat on the town! Costumes encouraged! Perfect for children ages 3-12, younger children are welcome to join us as well. We will have activity stations and many local businesses handing out toys, coupons, stickers, candy, and more! Cost is $15 donation per family (benefiting Safety Town) and a non-perishable food item (benefiting Loaves and Fishes).

The Ville’s Rockin’ Pumpkin Patch

Get ready for some fall fun! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of tricks, treats, live music and, of course, pumpkins. Pick your favorite pumpkin from The Ville Team’s pumpkin patch on the front lawn and unleash your creativity for the Pumpkin Carving Contest.

Naperville Pumpkin Race

Turning Pointe Autism Foundation is celebrating their 10th annual Naperville Pumpkin Race! The event will feature community heats, a costume contest and business races. Friends of all ages and abilities are invited to create their own Pumpkin Racer. Race in a unique side-by-side single elimination race in a funky, hilarious, suspenseful and dramatic display of American ingenuity.

Trick-or-Treat Pet Parades
Thursday, October 29 | Downtown Naperville | 5:30p or 6:30p
Your pup will parade around town, trick-or-treat at 13 local businesses, fill their special Two Bostons trick-or-treat bag, show off their costume, and enjoy plenty of Halloween fun along the way.
Registration is $10.00 per dog and includes one trick-or-treat bag plus a $5.00 treat coupon to use that night.
