        Cress Creek Neighborhood

Cress Creek is a townhome and single family home neighborhood comprised of over 1200 residences between its 2 subdivisions. Founded in the 1960s, the community of Cress Creek Country Club Estates was the first community in Illinois to be built around a golf course. Harold Moser developed the subdivision with a new vision for Naperville. Cress Creek Commons was developed closer to the 1980s. These homes are built around three beautiful lakes and include a pool alongside tennis and pickle ball courts.

Although a 1970s brochure from the builders Smykal, Inc. & Associates only showed 3 models available, the homes now range greatly in style.

There is something for all! Cress Creek Park has recreation areas for neighborhood children and families and the Cress Creek homeowners association has an abundance of activities – from parades to a Mom and Tots group. The neighborhood even has their own magazine and features monthly events and focuses on new families and involvement!

The neighborhood rarely has homes on the market as residents stay throughout the years due to the wide variety of programs, services and amenities – such a unique feature of this desirable subdivision.
