        Upcoming Naperville Area Events – August 2023

         

        It’s back-to-school time! Classes at Naperville School District 203 start on Thursday, August 17 while Naperville School District 204 starts on Thursday, August 24. In between all of the changing schedules, set aside some time for a bit of fun! There’s so many event happening around Naperville! And, no matter what activities you love you’ll find something to do in Naperville for everyone. We hope to see you around the neighborhood!

         

        National Night Out

        Tuesday, August 1 | Neighborhoods Throughout Naperville

        Cookouts, block parties and neighborhood walks will occur simultaneously in dozens of neighborhoods throughout Naperville on National Night Out. This nationwide event is held annually to heighten drug prevention and crime awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships.

        Festa Italiana

        Friday, August 4 – Sunday, August 6 | Naper Settlement

        It’s time to channel your inner Italian and celebrate the music, food, culture, and spirit of Italy. Come with an empty belly and join our meatball eating contest or sip on your favorite vino at the Tuscan-inspired wine bar. You’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of Italy by day and rock out into the night.

        Naperville Halal Fest

        Saturday, August 5 | Frontier Park | 12p – 8p

        The IL Muslim Chamber of Commerce is hosting the inaugural Halal Fest in Naperville on Aug. 5, 2023, at Frontier Park. This event will showcase the vibrant and diverse Muslim lifestyles of the Naperville and Greater Chicagoland area, representing cultures from around the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in a rich array of experiences, including food, traditional attire, arts, culture, and more.

        Wine & Cupcake Adoption Fundraiser

        Old Naperville Day Block Party

        Old Naperville Day is an annual block party celebrating the friends, family, and neighbors who make up one of the best communities in the nation! Celebrating each August on W Chicago Ave in front of Naperville’s iconic tavern The Lantern, guests enjoy live music, delicious food from Naperville restaurants, ice cold beverages, a kids activity area, and plenty of fun for everyone. Proceeds from the block party support an end to local homelessness at DuPagePads. This event is family friendly, free, and open to all neighbors and visitors alike.
