        Naperville Community Gardeners Present “Cook. Eat, Grow”

        Monday, March 4 | Knox Presbyterian Church | 6:30p

        Veronica Porter, owner of Ask Aunt V, is a third-generation organic farmer, chef, culinary instructor, and food educator for home and garden. Her presentation, “Cook, Eat, Grow,” will focus on how and where your food is grown matters; and that using real food will maximize the taste profile and nutritional value of the ingredients you use.

        St. Paddy’s 5K Walk/Run

        Saturday, March 9 | Centennial Beach | 8a

        The St. Paddy’s 5K Walk/Run is sponsored by Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise. Through this event and Naper Lights, Rotary is able to donate to their run recipient charities, fund  give back days, and fund Avenues of Service yearly campaigns.

        St. Patrick’s Day Parade

        Saturday, March 9 | Downtown Naperville | 10a

        WSI’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a family event celebrating Irish heritage and culture. It attracts over 3,000 participants and 15,000 spectators to downtown Naperville. The Parade starts at 10 a.m. from the corner of Mill Street and Ogden Avenue, proceeded south on Mill to Jefferson, crossing over to Main St. and ending at Water Street.

        Brews for a Cure

        Sunday, March 10 | Noon Whistle Brewing Naperville Tasting Room | 12-4p

        Join Noon Whistle Brewing as they host Brews for a Cure in partnership with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, dedicated to childhood cancer research. Enjoy a selection of our finest craft brews, including special releases and fan favorites. Witness brave souls shaving their heads in solidarity with children fighting cancer. A portion of proceeds from beer sales and donations will go directly to St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

        DuPage Symphony Orchestra “Springtime Celebrations”

        Join the DuPage Symphony Orchestra for their upcoming 70th Anniversary Season: to be energized, enlightened, entertained, and inspired by the passion and poetry of great symphonic music under the dynamic leadership of long-time music director Barbara Schubert. Along with a performance by the DuPage Symphony’s 2024 Young Artists Auditions winner, the DuPage Symphony celebrates the cultural holidays of spring: with Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Russian Easter Overture,” Richard Strauss’s “Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks,” and Victor Herbert’s “Irish Rhapsody.”

        2024 Weed Ladies Spring Preview Sale

        The Weed Ladies Spring Preview Sale features creative seasonal floral arrangements. Each one-of-a-kind silk or dried floral creation has been designed by the Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society volunteer group. Proceeds benefit the Naperville Heritage Society.

        The Great Egg Hunt 2024

        Saturday, March 30 | Frontier Park Sports Complex | 8:55a

        14,000 eggs are “hidden” among the 4 ball fields at Frontier Park Sports Complex (3380 Cedar Glade Dr), divided by age groups. The age groups are: 0-2yrs, 3-4yrs, 5-6yrs, 7-8yrs. At 9:00 am, the horn sounds, and hundreds of kids scramble across the outfields to get the eggs. Special prizes are available, as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny! This is a FREE Community Event organized by the Naperville Jaycees, however, donations are suggested. Please try to arrive THIRTY MINUTES EARLY. No reservations required. Event parking is limited.
