Tom began his real estate career in 1981 with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in the Kansas City, Mo. office and focused primarily on tenant and Landlord representation for both office and industrial properties.
In 1987, following successive promotions, transferred to Homart Development Company in Chicago to focus his efforts on office tenant representation with Homart’s National Accounts Group. While at Homart, Tom managed over 100 accounts made up of Fortune 200 companies and was involved in over 1.3 million square feet of commercial office space negotiations throughout Homart’s national office building portfolio.
Additionally, in 1992, Tom was assigned the role of Marketing Director and joined the Homart Development Team responsible for the construction and land development of Sears 3 million square foot World Headquarters facility in Hoffman Estates known as Prairie Stone.
Tom joined Prentiss Properties, a Dallas based REIT, in 2003 where he specialized in leasing the west suburban office portfolio to full occupancy and final disposition of the assets.
Whereupon, in 2007, Tom became a founding member and Designated Managing Broker of Commercial Property Advisors LLC providing fully integrated real estate services including leasing, sales, asset/property management and due diligence coordination.
Tom joined Coldwell Banker Realty and The Ville team in 2020. With his extensive knowledge of the industry, he assists in both residential and commercial transactions.
Tom was a member of the 1973 National Football Championship team at the University of Notre Dame under legendary football coach Ara Parseghian. He resides with his wife, Julie, in Lisle and has 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren
