        Upcoming Naperville Events – September 2022

         

        Summer may be coming to a close, but the fall fun is just beginning! Here’s a round-up of some of the Naperville events going on in September. Have fun here as well as at the local sunflower farms, apple orchards and corn mazes! We hope to see you around the neighborhood!

        Naperville’s The Last Fling

        Friday, September 2 – Monday, September 5 | Downtown Naperville

        Join the Jaycees for the annual Last Fling – a festival in Downtown Naperville along the Riverwalk. Full of food, entertainment and carnival rides it’s fun for the whole family!

        Greater Chicago Soap Box Derby

        Saturday, September 10 | Frontenac Rd.

        Join us for a fun day of gravity racing at the corner of Diehl and Frontenac Roads in Naperville. We supply the car – bring your own bike helmet or borrow one of ours. Morning and afternoon races each day. First race starts at 9 a.m. Registration open to ages 7 to 20.

        Naper Pride Fest

        Saturday, September 10 | Naper Settlement | 12noon – 10pm

        The Annual Naper Pride Fest is happening on Saturday, Sept. 10 from noon to 10 p.m., and it’s going to be fun for the whole family! There will be music, food, children’s activities, photo opportunities, and a variety of LGBTQ+ supportive vendors from Naperville and the surrounding area!

        Riverwalk Fine Art Fair 

        Sat & Sun, Sept 17-18 | Downtown Naperville | 10a-5p

        The Riverwalk Fine Art Fair is among the top rated art fairs in the nation. More than 100 national and international artists will participate in the Naperville Art League’s annual juried art exhibition and sale. The annual event features a wide variety of art including paintings, jewelry, photography, ceramics, fiber, wood art, and more.

        Naperville’s Hispanic Heritage Festival

        Saturday, September 17 | Central Park

        The second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival in Central Park on Sept. 17, 5-9 p.m. There will be music, a Taste of Latin America and a South of the Border marketplace. Downtown Naperville businesses will also host cultural activities including a scavenger hunt, cooking classes, Loteria, sugar skull painting, art projects, food specials and more.

        Walk to End Alzheimer’s

        Sunday, September 18 | North Central College

        The Walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Add your flower to the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

        Black Cat Ball

        Friday, September 30 | Oscar Swan, Geneva, Illinois

        The premiere gala in Naperville benefiting the Naperville Area Humane Society! Join them for an evening of mystery and murder where where everyone is a suspect at the Oscar Swan Manor. There will be silent and live auctions, a delicious dinner, open bar, and an interactive murder mystery dinner.
